Lucia Aleotti
Vice President for the Study Centre

Lucia Aleotti was born in 1966.

In 1991, he graduated with honours in Economics in Florence and the following year joined Menarini as assistant to his father, CEO.

In 1993, with the creation of A. Menarini Industrie Sud srl, a company based in L'Aquila that deals with the production and marketing of drugs, he became its Sole Director and at the same time took on the role of Director in various foreign companies of the Menarini Group, including Laboratorios Menarini S.A. and Menarini International Operations.

Since 2001 he has been on the Board of Directors of the parent company A. Menarini I.F.R. s.r.l. together with his brother Alberto Giovanni.
In 2011 he became Vice President of A. Menarini I.F.R. and joined the Board of Directors of Pharmafin Spa, the holding company of the Menarini Group.

In 2013, she was appointed President of A. Menarini I.F.R., a position she held until 2018.

In 2023, she was appointed President of Pharmafin, a position she still holds.

Since 1995, he has been familiar with European issues by joining EFPIA, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations, as a member of various working groups such as the EPG (Economic Policy Group), the ESPC (Economic and Social Committee) and the EU Enlargement Action Team.

Since 2003, he has been a member of the Farmindustria Council and in 2011 he joined the President's Committee, subsequently and to date holding the role of Vice President delegated to the strategic priority Production of Value and Coordinator of the Strategic Group Production of Value.

In 2004, he joined the Heads of Europe group (group of European business heads of their respective companies), and in 2010, until 2018, he joined the Board, the Association's highest governing body.

In 2011, he joined the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations, IFPMA, as a member of the Council and immediately afterwards the BCR (Biopharmaceutical CEOs Roundtable), a select group of the world's leading research-based pharmaceutical companies.

In Confindustria, he has been a member of the Technical Committee Europe, the Council, and is now a member of the General Council.

In 2021, Menarini receives the Work Life Balance Friendly Company Award from the Marisa Bellisario Foundation in cooperation with Confindustria.

In 2023, he received the Guido Carli Prize, awarded annually to personalities who have distinguished themselves for their social commitment, successes in the entrepreneurial field, as well as for bringing prestige to Italian talent and genius in the world.
